The series is based on the theme of alteration, understood as the expression and representation of our desires and nightmares. In this series I wanted to create a composition made by pairs of shots of which one represents the subject that looks in the mirror, and the other depicts the image that is seen by the eyes of the person itself.
There are both nightmares and dreams or desires perceived by the various individuals. An important part of the work lies in the background, which was personally hand-painted for this purpose. I wanted to create a backdrop that gave the idea of an environment out of the real, which was almost dreamlike.
